Flickr-to-Pluspora Test # 2aBodrum, Turkey
Posting an album from Flickr seems to work spectacularly (see Stockholm post minutes ago)
It allowed me (on a laptop/desktop at least, which are best for flickr's hi-res images) to see the whole album in two ways, clicking right in the display or "clicking through" to the flickr site. Excellent, I think. (Beej!)
I'm now posting, maybe, a single image - which I could
do simply by easily downloading from Flickr and reposting here, no?
But here's what happens when I use the Markdown interface here to "insert an image" directly from the web, in this case Flickr.
Dead link, right?
Challenge # 1 is that the web address is not to a .jpg but to a flickr container page,https://www.flickr.com/photos/fenichel/2670052165/in/album-72157658702750622/
Pretty sure I could just point to this as a "link" rather than image (test 3?) but what will happen if I try the "image" function? (Not seeing any script components - yet) So, last test will be to try using the flickr photo within the page as the target &/or making the photo itself a "link" rather than image.
Here goes, expecting a dead-image icon
"I cannot post-edit even if I wanted! -g- So, here goes, as-is." - take 2
Here's a test of re-posting a single image from Flickr, main photostream.
I forgot what I just saw (Hot/Cold coding suggestions), so here goes just by instinc.
If it’s a total blow-out, here we go, test 2a, attempted display of remote image. But if all fails....
There is still my non-Google+ collection, @ http://www.fenichel.com/Turkey
